Google informed me I reached 3K clicks in 28d 🎉 I get asked a lot about my SEO strategy. It's pretty simple, and it doesn't involve blog posts (for now): 1. I use ahrefs free site audit tool. It's amazing. It told me all the mistakes I had: from mobile unfriendliness to pages in sitemap which are not reachable through browsing. I eventually fixed all of them (because most of the ones I ignored first then showed up in my google search console as errors) 2. I invested a lot of time into getting backlinks. I looked where my competitors are linked (using the backlink tool of semrush) and then went to the website, looked up the contact email and sent an individual email asking for a backlink. Reached out to 30 site owners, got back 10 backlinks. After 5 months (!) this took me to the first page of google. Next goal is to get to the top 3. Next steps: - more backlinks 😅 - blogposts, maybe a forum - try some programmatic SEO techniques I just learnt
