sunil pai @threepointoneyou have to think of agents as _compression_ technology.
you're not just grinding through tickets, but all the bad decisions, bugs, edge cases, benefits and problems, they're all rushing up to you (more so if agents are _using_ your software). so it's probably never going to feel like you've done a whole year's roadmap in a month. also why the industry is now working on solving the "slop" problem; every turd is visible/smelly much sooner. so your leverage comes from prioritising; brutally picking the right things to work on, the things that actually generate more dollars, trust, or impact. (and you _still_ have to deal with the implications of compression of usage).
you wanna talk about software factories? large scale production of cars didn't just make everyone's journeys faster, it also created suburbs, tourism, entirely new habits. how do we account and prepare for a whole new life around software. the question is whether we are building the roads, rules, and maintenance systems for it at the same time.Jun 24, 2026 View on X →
